Drug Task Force detectives began investigating reports of crack cocaine being sold out of Torres and Poremba’s home in the first block of South Mulberry Street in February. Multiple undercover officers or confidential informants confirmed these sales by purchasing cocaine from the home using pre-recorded buy money.
Torres and Poremba, as well as Rocha, of the first block of Deep Hollow Lane, were identified as sellers of crack cocaine from inside the home on separate dates.
The investigation also discovered that a 13-year-old girl Poremba is the legal guardian of was living inside the home while drugs were being sold.
The Task Force, assisted by the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, executed a search and seizure warrant at the residence on April 3, recovering 19 grams of crack cocaine valued at $1,900 and more than $1,000 cash. Additionally, the Lancaster County Children and Youth Agency took temporary custody of the juvenile victim.
Both Torres and Rocha are currently in Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $50,000 and $20,000 bail, respectively, set by Judge Adam Witkonis. Poremba is free on $10,000 unsecured bail.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
