On Saturday, September 24th, 2022, West Earl Township Police Department received an anonymous CrimeWatch tip that a subject with an outstanding warrant from 2015 was currently in the area. West Earl PD was further advised the subject who resides in Florida was currently in the area attending a wedding. West Earl Officers with the assistance of New Holland PD arrested Charlie Serrano Santiago and transported him to Lancaster County Prison. Santiago had a scheduled preliminary arraignment on September 25th and was arraigned by Judge Joshua Keller and bail was set for $75,000.

Santiago was originally charged in 2015 with (1)Count- 3802 A1 Driving Under the Influence-General Impairment (M), and (1)Count- 3802 C Highest Rate of Alcohol (BAC .16+) (M1).

The public and media are reminded that all criminal charges are merely accusations, and all subjects are innocent until proven guilty.
