The West Earl Township Police Department is now accepting resumes on an ongoing basis for consideration for future employment opportunities. We are seeking dedicated and qualified individuals to join our team of professional law enforcement officers.

Starting Salary (2025):

• First-year Act 120 certified officer: $72,721

• Non-certified applicants (while attending the academy): $43,690

2026 Top Patrol Officer Salary: $105,311

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Ability to perform essential job functions and successfully complete a competitive process, including oral interviews, physical and psychological examinations, and a comprehensive background investigation

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalency

• Must have a valid PA operator’s license at the time of the application deadline

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and provide proof of citizenship

• Must meet or exceed all requirements and conditions for certification under MPOETC Act 120
