Manheim Borough - On 12/19/22 officers began to receive reports of two suspects checking for unlocked vehicles in the Borough in the early morning hours of the 19th. Reports indicated the males were seen in the area around 5:00 AM. During the initial investigation, witnesses observed the suspects on several streets including North Fulton, South Fulton, Chestnut Street and North Grant Street. One of the witnesses observed the males walking with flashlights.
An unlocked vehicle with the keys in it was stolen from Fulton Street and has not been recovered at the time of this report. The vehicle is a gray Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up truck bearing Ohio registration PKW 2092.
Witness statements and surveillance appear to show two slim males wearing dark clothes, with one of the males having a white stripe down both sides of his pants.
The suspects were also observed on private surveillance video checking several vehicles, appearing to be unphased by security motion lights. One of those videos is attached to this post.
