It has been brought to the attention of the East Cocalico Township Police Department through numerous Social Media posts, that there are reports of a suspicious white van, in the Community, where the occupants are attempting to lure children.   As of this date, March 11, we have received one report regarding a white van.  That report occurred on March 4, in Denver Borough.  The complaint involved suspicious activity but no overt attempt was made by the occupants of the van to lure anyone into the van.   The van was described as a Budget Rental van with an unknown, out of state, license plate.

As always, we want the citizens of the Cocalico Community to remain vigilant.   You are requested to report any suspicious activities involving any persons or vehicles to our Department.    We have been in contact with several Law Enforcement Agencies in the area and have found no corroborating incidents of Child Luring.
