The Chief of Police reported for the month of March (2023) that the Police Department had 612 calls for service. This included 7 criminal arrests, 3 warrant arrests, 45 medical assists, 21 parking tickets, 11 vehicle accidents and 5 emotionally disturbed individuals. Quarryville Police Officers also participated in Defensive Tactics training, Human Trafficking training and DUI training. Several Quarryville Police Officers organized and conducted Aggressive Driving enforcement details within the Borough utilizing State funds. The Chief of Police received a grant award to add a new police patrol vehicle at no cost to the Borough. Quarryville Borough Council also approved replacing the outdated phone system for all sections of the Borough Building.
