On Thursday, 2 March 2023, at approximately 8:14 PM, an Officer with the Quarryville Police Department conducted a vehicle stop in the area of North Summit Avenue and West State Street as part of a traffic enforcement detail. The Officer conducted the stop for an equipment violation. During the stop the Officer determined the driver, Deidre Westley of Mount Joy PA, to be in possession of drugs and related paraphernalia. Further, the Officer found Deidre to be in violation of the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act for possessing Marijuana not part of her "prescription". Charges were filed against Deidre at Magisterial District Court 02-3-04. 

All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
