On 17 May 2022 at approximately 1:50 AM an officer with the Quarryville Police was patrolling a parking lot in the area of 16 South Church Street Quarryville, PA 17566. While in the area, the officer noticed a parked vehicle that was occupied by a male who was sleeping inside. The officer approached to check on the status of the subject and observed an uncapped syringe inside the vehicle. The officer woke the male up and questioned him. Through the course of the investigation, the officer recovered a bag of psilocybin mushrooms, several baggies of Marijuana, more drug paraphernalia to include a digital scale and packaging material and 51 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine.

The officer subsequently arrested the male, Kenneth Mayberry of Oxford, PA, with possession with intent to distribute narcotics, possession of narcotics, possession of Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mayberry was arraigned at the Lancaster County prison where he was committed after failing to post bail.

All parties charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
