On 29 October 2022, at approximately 1557 hours, an officer with the Quarryville Police conducted a vehicle stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation at the intersection of South Hess Street and East State Street. During the stop, the officer discovered Giovana Grumelli-Persing of Quarryville, to be in possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms, several baggies of Marijuana and related drug paraphernalia. Grumelli-Persing will be charged with drug violations before the District Court of 02-3-04 relating to the vehicle stop.
