Newest PTPD Officer Sworn In

The Pequea Township Police Department welcomes our newest Full Time Patrol Officer to the department.  Officer Victoria Walton was sworn in by Magisterial District Justice William Benner at the March Board of Supervisor's Meeting.   Vicky grew up in Lancaster County and is a graduate of Penn Manor High School.  She graduated from the HACC Police Academy and is currently enrolled at Penn State studying Criminal Justice and Psychology.  Officer Walton previously worked in law enforcement in York County and is a current EMT and former Volunteer Firefighter. The hiring of Officer Walton fills a vacancy left after Officer Megan Davis left our agency to further her career at another Law Enforcement agency.    Officer Walton began her Field Training on March 17th and is already enjoying her visits to the Pequea Elementary School and meeting residents while conducting foot patrols in the area developments.  If you see Officer Vicky out on the street make sure you say hi, she'd love to meet you.
