On 7/21/20 at approx. 8:15 AM the PTPD along with Lancaster EMS and the West Willow Fire Co. were dispatched to a residence on Baumgardner Rd. for a reported cardiac arrest.  A 35 year old female from Willow Street was said to be unresponsive, blue and not breathing.  Information was that this was possibly as a result of a drug overdose.  Chief Michener arrived in 2 minutes and found an acquaintance preforming CPR on the female. Chief Michener found the female had a pulse but was in respiratory distress.  He administered one dose of Naloxone and began rescue breathing, after approx. 2 minutes a second dose of Nalaxone was delivered and rescue breathing continued. Approximately two minutes later the female regained consciousness.  EMS arrived and transported the female to the hospital for evaluation.
