The Pequea Township Police Department is investigating the theft of a vehicle from the 100 Blk. of Bolton Circle in Pequea Twp.  At approx. 3 AM on 9/29/2020 unknown actor(s) arrived at the scene and removed a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas valued at $20,000.  On 9/30/2020 the Atlas was located on Third Street in Lancaster City.  A suspicious vehicle was observed in the area at the time of the theft matching the description of a vehicle stolen in another jurisdiction on the same night.  A Jeep Renegade reported stolen from Lancaster City was also found abandoned in the 100 Blk. of Bolton Circle.  Anyone with security cameras in the area are asked to check their footage for suspicious persons or vehicles.  Please contact the Pequea Township Police Dept. at 717-664-1180 with info.  Anonymous tips may be left at www.pequeatownshippd.org Please remember to lock your vehicles and hide or remove valuables, and report suspicious activity to police right away.
