On September 12, 2015 at 1313 hrs NHPD responded to Dollar General, 419 W Main St NH BORO for a shoplifting complaint.  NHPD was advised by Dollar General employees they had observed a juvenile male remove a bag candy from the shelf and place it in his backpack.  The juvenile male then attempted to leave the store without paying for the item.  The employees stopped the male and contacted NHPD.  The 16 year old New Holland male has been charged with Retail Theft and is being petitioned to Lancaster County Juvenile court due to this being his second offense.
