On August 19, 2025, at around 7:00 p.m., a German Shepherd dog suddenly broke free from its owner's grasp and darted into the road, causing a collision in the 500 block of East Jackson Street, near New Holland Park. The dog's owner fled the scene without providing their contact information to the other party involved. The New Holland Police are seeking assistance in identifying the owner.
