OCCURRED 09/05/2022 0225HRS

Officers were dispatched to McDonald’s for a shots fired call. After checking, officers followed a group of juveniles behind the school, towards the football stadium. Three female juveniles were stopped when they failed to jump the fence. Three juvenile males did jump the fence heading north through the woods.  Three females were cited for Curfew.

OCCURRED 09/07/2022 BETWEEN 1500HRS AND 2000HRS

Reporting person stated that his neighbor had asked him to retrieve his UPS package that he was expecting, do to him working late. Reporting person stated that he took the package from UPS at approximately 1500 HRS.  He put the package on a table in his first floor apartment.  The table is directly in front of a window that faces the front porch of the building.  After getting the package, the reporting person left the house and returned at approx. 2000 HRS.  He discovered that the package was missing.  Ongoing investigation.

Reporting person stated his GRAY TREK 300 ROADBIKE was stolen out of the backyard. Reporting person stated the bicycle was not locked up and was leaning against the rear of the house.

R/P stated she was notified that someone attempted to make an online purchase from her work bank card.  R/P believes that an unknown H/M approximately 5’4”, who approached her and asked her to read a price tag for an item, may have taken her wallet, containing her driver’s license and bank cards.  R/P stated this happened while she was in Home Goods.  Ongoing Investigation.

A 2021 gray in color Dodge Challenger that was parked overnight on the parking lot at listed location was reported stolen at 1023hrs.  The vehicle was then recovered at 1113hrs.  Ongoing Investigation.

Officers checked the area and found no signs of gun shots.

While Officers were patrolling they heard approximately 5-6 gun shots resonate in the southeast area of the city.  Officers then received a shots fired call and responded to the location. Officers located shell casings in front of 609 Almanac Avenue, in the middle of the roadway, where a large group of people were seated having a party.  The group of people were uncooperative and denied hearing gun shots or anyone having a gun.  Officers located and labeled all 5 shell casings.  Ongoing Investigation.

R/P stated she parked her 2008 Black in color Toyota Prius in front of her residence while she went away.  R/P stated when she returned on 9/11 she noticed the catalytic converter was removed.  No cameras or known witnesses.  Ongoing Investigation.

Reporting person/victim stated the vehicle was parked in the 400 block of Church St. on 10 SEPT 22 around 2200hrs. The vehicle was a red in color Mitsubishi Outlander, parked on the south side of the street, right behind a Handicap spot. Reporting person stated on 12 Sept 2022 at 0500hrs her vehicle was missing. Ongoing investigation.
