Joseph A Portalatin, 31 of the 700 Block of Wyncroft Terrace, Lancaster, PA 17603, was charged with Possession Small Amount  Marijuana, Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Unauthorized Use of Registration and Operating while Driver’s Privileges Suspended during a traffic stop where the subject’s Toyota sedan registration plate was checked and found to be registered to a Honda.

The reporting person advised that he was doing repairs on his property at listed location. He stated that sometime between 12-2-22 at 1700 hours and 12-5-22 at 0730 hours someone had stolen 2 Pettibone Forklift batteries that were outside in the open on the property. Ongoing investigation.

The reporting person/victim stated that an unknown subject entered the store with a cart. He selected a DeWalt brand edger, and placed it in his cart. He then selected 2 Roomba Vacuums and placed them in the cart as well. After a few laps around the store he was seen selecting some gloves and Mr. Clean Erasers. He then went toward the main entrance door, passing all points of sale. Reporting person/victim attempted to stop the subject. The subject fled out the left main entrance door on foot. Ongoing investigation.
