When she arrived at the Goodwill she noticed that her wallet was not inside her purse.

Reporting person, who works for asset protection, stated he was walking throughout the store when he observed a white male, approximately 6'1", with medium in length blonde hair wearing a black in color zip up sweater, with gray jeans in the store. He stated the suspect then selected a black and red in color Milwaukee brand flashlight (500 lumens) and walk throughout the store with it until he was able to stand in an enclosed area of an aisle to remove it from the packaging and conceal the merchandise into his pocket. The male exited without buying anything.

Brandon Kohler was charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, one count of Possession of Paraphernalia (M), and one count of Public Drunkenness (S) before MDJ Richardson.

Officer responded to the listed location on the listed date and time for report of retail theft in progress. Upon arrival, officers located two juvenile males about to exit the store that fit the description given by the store manager. Officer stopped the juveniles as they were about to leave advising them to hand over the items they had taken. The juveniles pulled items from their pockets and one of their backpacks was searched by the officer. The juveniles had attempted to steal candy, drinks and pens and were taken into custody. Both juveniles were cited for Retail Theft before MDJ 02-2-04 and released to their guardians.

Victim retraced her steps but still could not locate the phone. Victim then went to the Verizon store and had the phone deactivated. The missing phone was a black Google Pixel with a clear case. Mall Security was also notified of the incident.

Officer responded on the listed date for a report of robbery that occurred at the listed location on the listed time. Reporting person / victim stated a male approached him and pointed a gun to his head as he was crossing the street after leaving a friend’s house at the listed location. The suspect then told the victim to “go knock on that door” indicating his friend’s house. Then a second male approached him and both suspects followed him to his friend’s house. Victim knocked on the door, his friend opened the door and the first suspect forced his way inside the house. Victim was told to empty his pockets and first suspect took victim’s GL phone, wallet and key ring. The first suspect then grabbed the victim’s arm and said “you’re coming with us” but the victim refused telling the suspect he gave him all his stuff. Both suspects then fled south on Prince St. First suspect was a light skinned male, 6’2” with a beard, wearing a black jacket, black pants, brandishing a Glock semi-auto pistol and spoke Spanish. Second suspect was a light skinned male, medium build with a beard and mustache, wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt. Investigation ongoing.

Officers stopped Kohler and found him in possession of a blue wax sleeve containing heroin and numerous empty clear plastic corner tied bags and a scale. Kohler was arrested and charged with Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia and PD.
