The Lancaster City Bureau of Police, are looking for any information that will lead to the identity of the pictured vehicle of interest, related to an assault by motor vehicle.  On Thursday, 16 December, 2021 at   4:06 p.m., a 45 year old victim was struck from behind while traveling on a motorized bicycle in the area of Dauphin St. at S. Christian St., Lancaster PA.  The striking vehicle fled the scene prior to officers arriving and was last seen traveling westbound in the 500 block of Dauphin St. The vehicle of interest is described by witnesses as a dark colored four door vehicle with possible front end damage.  Witnesses on scene described the actions of the driver to be deliberate. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a serious head injury as a result of the collision. 

CCT footage provided by the Lancaster Safety Coalition, revealed the vehicle of interest to be an older model (2006-2013), dark Gray, Chevrolet Impala, possibly missing a front wheel cover.
