Through the investigation Detective Burgett has identified Jerome Striver Jr as the suspect in this stabbing. Jerome Striver Jr. is charged with one count of Aggravated Assault (F1) and there is an active warrant for his arrest.

This morning Monday, April 17, 2023, at approximately 7:22 AM, the Lancaster City Police responded to a stabbing incident in the area of Queen and Farnum. Officers located one male victim with a stab wound to the torso. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is currently being treated.

Through the course of the investigation, our detectives uncovered the suspect and the victim knew each other. The suspect is not currently in custody.

At this time, we believe this was an isolated incident and there is no immediate danger to the public.
