On Saturday November 2, 2019 at approximately 2111 hrs. Officers from Lancaster Bureau of Police, Platoon B, responded to the area of the 900 blk. S. Duke St. for a reported shooting.
The initial information about a shooting was unfounded. Upon arrival, Officer located a (57) year old male that had a single stab wound to his lower torso.
Officers were able to determine that the victim and an adult female had been involved in a domestic dispute in the shopping plaza on the east side of S. Duke St. An unknown male confronted the victim about the domestic dispute. The two males engaged in a physical confrontation. The victim was stabbed one time on torso by the suspect. The suspect then left the scene on foot.
The victim was treated at the hospital for the injury and later released from the hospital.
Officers and Detectives checked the area for evidence, witnesses and surveillance video locations.
The stabbing suspect was described as a Hispanic male, thin build, approximately 5'05" tall, last seen wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
