On Wednesday October 2, 2019 at approximately 0710 hrs. Officers from Lancaster Bureau of Police responded to the area of S. Duke St. and Locust St. for a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, Officers located an 18 year old female with a single stab wound to the abdomen. That female was taken to the hospital by EMS. The injury does not appear to be life threatening.
Officer were given preliminary information that an unidentified female ran at the victim, chased her and stabbed her one time. No suspect was located at the scene or in the area.
Officers and Detectives canvassed the area looking for evidence, witnesses and surveillance video locations.
Neighbors reported hearing at least (2) gunshots prior to the stabbing. No injuries, damage or evidence of gunfire was located.
Evidence Techs processed the scene and collected potential evidence.
No arrests and have been made and the suspect has not been identified.
