On Monday 9/21/2020 at approximately 1451 hrs. Officers from Lancaster Bureau of Police, Platoon D, responded to the 200 blk. W. Vine St. for reports of shots fired. 

Callers to 911 reported hearing multiple gunshots and saw unknown young males running from the area.

The first arriving Officer located spent shell casings and damage to parked, unoccupied vehicles. Officers began to canvas the area for additional evidence, witnesses and potential surveillance video locations. 

At approximately 1506 hrs. Officers were notified that a male with a gunshot wound had arrived at the hospital. The 25 year old male had a gunshot wound to his lower torso. The male is currently being treated by hospital staff and an update on his condition is not available as of the time of this release. 

It is unknown if there are any additional victims. No suspects have been identified as of the time of this release. It is unknown if this shooting is related to the earlier shots fired call on 500 blk. Lafayette St.
