On Monday March 1, 2021 at approximately 2226 hrs. Officers from Lancaster Bureau of Police, Platoon B, responded to a residence on the 500 blk. Manor St. for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, Officers located a 33 year old male. The male had a laceration on the right side of his neck and another possible injury to his head.
The male was conscious and was able to speak with Officers. The male stated that he was in the area of Reiker Ave. near the laundromat 600 blk. Manor St. The male stated that he was approached by a group of approximately (5) unknown individuals. The male stated that he was "jumped" by the group. He described them only as (3) black males and (2) light skinned/Hispanic males. The victim stated that the males ran north toward the area of Crystal Park after the assault. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Officers canvassed the area for suspect information, evidence, witnesses and surveillance camera locations.
