*******Update, Jerbrell Westmoreland arrested********

On March 6th, 2023 U.S. Marshalls, with the assistance of personnel from the Memphis Police Department, took Jerbrell Westmoreland into custody, in Memphis Tennessee. Westmoreland will be returned to Lancaster, PA for arraignment at a future date. The Lancaster City Bureau of Police thanks our partners in the U.S. Marshall's office and Memphis Police Department for their assistance.

On 28 November, 2022 at 0111 a.m., officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police responded to a report of a shooting that occurred at 145 S. Prince St., Lancaster City, PA. Upon arriving, officers located two adult male victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. One of the males, identified as Luis Sanchez, was later pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries from the shooting.  Lancaster City Bureau of Police Detectives responded and began an investigation into the shooting.  In the weeks following the homicide, Detectives reviewed evidence, interviewed multiple witnesses, and reviewed video obtained from areas around the City of Lancaster.

As a result of the investigation, Detective Adam Flurry of the Lancaster City Bureau of Police charged two males, identified as Ziair Collymore, 22, of Lancaster, and Jerbrell Westmoreland, 30, of Lancaster, each with (1) count Criminal Homicide, (1) count of Criminal Attempt Criminal Homicide, and (1) count of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Homicide before MDJ Witkonis.  In addition to the previously mentioned charges, Collymore was also charged with (1) count of Recklessly Endangering Another Person and (1) count of Carrying a Firearm without a License, also before MDJ Witkonis.

Ziair Collymore was taken into custody in the afternoon hours of February 23, 2023, at the Lancaster County Probation Office, by Lancaster City Police Detectives, along with the assistance of multiple Lancaster County Probation Officers.  The Lancaster City Bureau of Police would like to extend their gratitude to the Office of Lancaster County Probation and Parole for their assistance in safely taking Collymore into custody, without incident.  Collymore was arraigned and committed to Lancaster County Prison, to be held without bail.

Jerbrell Westmoreland is not in custody and his whereabouts are unknown at this time. Any persons with knowledge of his whereabouts are urged to call the Lancaster City Bureau of Police at 717 735-3300 to provide the information. Callers can remain anonymous. 

Both Collymore and Westmoreland are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
