On February 14, 2023 at approximately 2204hrs, Lancaster County Wide Communications (LCWC), advised of a, Shots Fired, call at 680 Park City Center, Lancaster PA (Shogun Steak House). Upon receiving the call, members of B Platoon, responded to the location and began speaking to two victims (Not Shot) as well as witnesses. A single .45 caliber shell casing was located in front of the restaurant. This was consistent with the information provided by witnesses that only one shot was fired prior to the suspect fleeing in a Burgundy Mercury Sable. Additional information from the victims revealed that the suspect, Jarvis Jamison, pistol whipped Victim 2 and that is when the gun discharged a single round. Officers conducted a thorough investigation and learned that the vehicle was parked in the 600 block of N Lime St. B Platoon officers were able to tie the vehicle to an apartment in the block. Officers were able to take Jarvis Jamison into custody without incident at the apartment. A consent search was conducted on an apartment and a loaded .45 Caliber Springfield XD 45 was located inside the apartment. The handgun was previously reported as lost by its owner.
As a result of this incident, Jarvis Jamison is being charged with Persons not to Possess a Firearm (F2), Firearms not to be Carried Without a License (F3), Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2), Receiving Stolen Property (F2), Aggravated Assault (F2), Stalking (M1), Possessing Instruments of a Crime (M1), and city ordinance Discharging of Firearms (S).
