On Thursday September 12, 2019 at approximately 2112 hrs. Officers from Lancaster Bureau of Police, Platoon B, responded to the 600 blk. Second St. for a complaint of suspected drug activity in-progress in a parked vehicle. Upon arrival, Officers located the vehicle in question, a silver Toyota.
Officers made contact with the occupants of the vehicle, identified as Daijon Bair M/19 and Pasha Galura F/20. Officers detected the odor or marijuana from inside the vehicle. Officers located a 9mm handgun and US Currency in a fanny pack inside the vehicle. Neither Bair or Galura have a permit to carry a firearm in concealed fashion.
Officers also located multiple THC oil vape cartridges and materials commonly used in the packaging and distribution of narcotics.
Both Bair and Galura were taken into custody. Off. Denlinger consulted with the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office. Criminal Complaints were filed against Bair and Galura. Both were charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver (PWID) THC oil (F), Criminal Conspiracy- PWID (F), Firearms Not To Be Carried Without a License (F3), Possession Small Amount Marijuana (M) and Possession Drug Paraphernalia (M).
Both were processed on their respective complaints and held for arraignment. Both had bail set at $10,000 (10 %). Both posted bail through a bail bond agent.
All persons accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
