We're Still Here!!!

We’re still here!

As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected many aspects of our lives.  We just want to put a few points out while we all deal with this emerging situation:

  1. We’re still here and we will be here if and when you need us.  We are following the recommendations given to us, but our services, and how we provide them, remain unchanged at this time.
  2. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at the office at 717-464-2421.  If you need to see a police officer, contact dispatch at 717-664-1180.  If it’s an emergency, call 911.  This hasn’t changed.
  3. Please check on each other, especially those who may be especially vulnerable to this pandemic (senior citizens, those with compromised immune systems, etc.).  Realize that they may not be able to get to a doctor’s visit or even to the store to buy necessities, and offer whatever help you can.  If you can’t help, contact a local church to see if someone there can.
  4. Please heed the advice of the medical profession by maintaining a safe social distance, avoiding large gatherings and avoiding touching your mouth and face.
  5. WASH YOUR HANDS
  6. Be prepared, but do not panic.  There is no need to go out and buy all of the toilet paper a store has to offer.
  7. WASH YOUR HANDS
  8. We are cops, not doctors.  We don’t pretend to have the medical answers.  If you have any questions, the website for the Center for Disease Control is https://www.cdc.gov/
  9. WASH YOUR HANDS
  10. This is a fluid situation and circumstances may dictate that we change how we handle situations moving forward.
  11. Now a quick word to any would-be criminals; don’t think that you can commit crime and get away with it.  Our doors (and cellblocks) are still open for business!!
