The 2020 holiday season is here, and unfortunately so is the Grinch.  The increase in holiday shopping also brings an increase in crimes of opportunity. Too often residents leave wrapped Christmas presents (or newly unwrapped Christmas presents) in plain view in vehicles. If you need to secure presents or valuable items in your vehicle, secure them in the trunk. For those of you who shop online and get packages delivered to your home, don’t forget to pay special attention to the expected delivery times and dates. If you are not going to be home when the package is delivered, ask a friend or neighbor to get the package for you.  Please be diligent and don’t let the Grinch steal your Christmas!
