At the Township’s November meeting, Officer Evan Shubrooks and Officer Anthony Weaver received letters of commendation for their life-saving efforts on a resident. On August 23rd, 2022, Officers Shubrooks and Weaver responded to an attempted suicide. Upon arrival, they located an unconscious male. After attaching an AED to the victim and receiving no response to shock, the officers provided CPR until advanced medical help arrived. The victim was turned over to EMS who conveyed the victim to a local hospital where he received medical care and mental health treatment. The officers displayed professionalism and a calm demeanor while utilizing their training and resources to save a life. Well done, Officers!!!!
