National Night Out - August 3, 2021

Please join the West Lampeter Township Police Department on Tuesday, August 3rd from 6pm-9pm at the Lampeter Fairgrounds for National Night Out 2021. National Night Out is an event that takes place annually in communities across the nation on the first Tuesday in August. The purpose of National Night Out is to promote and strengthen police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live and work.

The West Lampeter Township National Night Out offers a variety of foods, beverages, giveaways and prizes all at no cost to those who attend. We also have lots of entertainment including a dunk tank, mechanical bull riding, police k-9 demonstrations, DJ, fireworks and much more. Our local police and fire departments will have vehicles and equipment on display.

In 2008, the West Lampeter Police Department hosted its first National Night Out. The event was attended by over 1200 community residents and that number has continued to grow each year. Unfortunately, National Night Out was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic. We are very excited to resume hosting the event again this year and look forward to seeing you there!
