HUGE THANKS at Mick's All-American Pub

A big “thank you” to the thoughtful citizen!!

On Thursday, I had the chance to have lunch at Mick’s All-American Pub on Willow Street Pike with a local businessman/resident of West Lampeter Township.  After lunch we went to pay.  When our server returned, she informed us that another patron wanted to thank me for my service and “took care” of my check.  I wanted to thank the patron, so I asked our server who the generous customer was.  She told me that she didn’t know because it wasn’t her customer.  She was told by another server that one of the other server’s customers took this generous action.  I asked our server if she could find out who the person was so I could personally thank them, unless they wanted to remain anonymous.  It appeared as though the customer wanted to remain anonymous so, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to personally thank this person for their very generous act.  So if you are out there reading this, thank you very much for your “random act of kindness.”  It truly is appreciated!  We read in the news and see in social media a seemingly unending battle between police and the communities they are sworn to serve and protect.  When you are continually inundated with these images, it is easy to think that this is the norm throughout this great nation.  Fortunately, it is not my experience.  I am reminded on a daily basis that we are truly honored to work in such a wonderful, supportive community!!  I’m looking forward to passing on this random act of kindness!

Sincerely,
