At the October Board of Supervisors meeting, Lancaster EMS Captain Dawn Ray presented pins and commendations to first responders for their life saving efforts on Mr. David Rohrer on May 25, 2022 at the Willow Valley Golf Course. Recipients of commendations were: Brad Farber (not pictured) and Laura Eberly of Lancaster EMS, Jennifer Anastasio, Justin Watkinson and Chief Craig Rhineer, Jr. of Willow Street Fire Company and Officers Edward McLaughlin and Melissa Ransing  of West Lampeter Police Department. Mr. Rohrer, also pictured, expressed his thankfulness at being alive. His doctor said that his recovery is due to the text book efforts of the first responders and bystanders (who were not able to be present tonight). Congratulations to all of these first responders who worked together to save his life!!
