Help Identify Robbery Suspect

The West Hempfield Township Police Department is currently investigating two recent robberies: 

On Friday, December 21, 2018, at about 10:15 PM, the West Hempfield Township Police Department responded to a robbery that occurred at a Speedway Market, which is located at 1792 Columbia Ave. Columbia PA 17512. Officers learned that a black male pictured in the attached captured surveillance footage had removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the open cash register. Officers learned that the suspect fled west on Columbia Ave. toward Prospect Rd in a black Ford SUV, which is pictured in the attached surveillance footage.

The second robbery occurred on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 1215 AM at a Turkey Hill Market, which is located at 1199 Prospect Rd. Columbia PA 17512. Officers reported that the same black male from the Speedway robbery had removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the store's open register. The male left the store and got into a black Ford Explorer possibly a 2002-2005 XL model. The suspect's vehicle was described as having a grey front and rear bumper, (No fog lights), grey trim along the bottom, with grey running boards.

There was no weapon displayed by the suspect during the robberies, and there were no reported injuries.
