On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at about 1234 AM, an officer from the West Hempfield Township Police Department checked on suspicious activity in a parking lot of a local business. The officer reported that he found two occupants in the parked vehicle.
The officers reported that he could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle.
The officer reported that passenger 23 year old Dave Allen Rehm, of Lancaster, PA, told officers where to look in the vehicle to find the marijuana along with drug paraphernalia, which including pipes, a prescription bottle, and a grinder with suspected marijuana residue.
The female driver was placed into custody for an outstanding felony warrant for a theft, issued by another agency.
The following charges were filed against David Rehm at MDJ Miles Bixler's Office in Columbia, PA: One count of Unlawful Possession of a small amount of Marijuana Section 780-113 A-31 (M), and One count of Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia Section 780-113 A32 (M).
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
