On Sunday, September 18, 2019 at 1122 hrs; Officers responded to the area of Kames Hill Road and Old Chickies Hill Road for a “reckless driver” complaint. A 911 caller reported a Lincoln MKS had been driving erratically and was observed running into curbs. A PA license plate number was provided to responding officers.
Officers then located the vehicle and found the driver to be Jimmy Morales (58) of Mountville. Morales appeared to be under the influence while officers talked with him. He failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. He was transported to LGH for a blood test.
On October 3, 2019: Morales was charged with (2) two counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substances. Blood results showed presence of Morphine, Fentanyl and Norfentanyl .
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
