On Sunday, May 12, 2019 at 2227 hrs; Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 blk of Columbia Ave for after observing a vehicle traveling westbound with equipment violations.
Officers identified the driver as Dyeqeech Jarrell Miller (19) of Columbia, PA.
Officers observed a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle and observed a cloud of smoke coming from the open driver window
Miller failed a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested for suspected DUI. He was taken to a local hospital for a blood withdraw and later released.
After the blood was tested at a medical laboratory, it was confirmed that Miller had THC in his system.
On June 5, 2019, charges were filed against Miller for Driving Under the Influence of a controlled substance (3 counts) and two separate traffic offenses.
Miller is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law.
