On Monday, September 23, 2019 at 2108 hrs; Officers were dispatched to the Turkey Hill located at 1199 Prospect Road, Columbia PA for a report that an employee had been caught stealing from the store while he was working.
As a result of an audit completed by Loss Prevention Associates, it was determined that the employee had stolen $4,578.83 worth of food, drinks, fuel, tobacco, lottery tickets and money orders over a period of 3 days.
On Friday, October 11, 2019 – Police charged Victor Manuel Camacho-Torres (20) of Columbia with one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking (F3). He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Miles Bixler and released on unsecure bail.
Camacho-Torres is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law
