On Sunday, February 11, 2018, at 3:53 AM, officers from the West Hempfield Township Police Department were dispatched for a disturbance at a Turkey Hill Store along Marietta Avenue, in West Hempfield Township.
The victim, a female store clerk, reported to police that a customer, 36 year old, Ramy Farag Banoub, of 3022 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601, created a disturbance in the store by yelling profanities at her, and by striking her in the arm after she asked him to move to another register, so she could assist him with his purchase.
Banoub admitted to police that he caused the disturbance because she was mean to him.
On Wednesday, February 14, 2018, the West Hempfield Township Police Department filed the following charge against Banoub at MDJ Miles Bixler's Office: One count of Disorderly conduct, Section 5503 a-3, (S).
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
