David Steffen, Chief of Police
The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department was recently awarded the approval of the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (PLEAC) as an accredited law enforcement agency. This award was presented to Chief David Steffen and the NLCRPD Accredation Manager Sergeant Josh Kilgore at the annual Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Education and Training Conference formal dinner banquet held on July 16, 2019 at the Kalahari Pocono Mountain Resort.
UPDATED FEE SCHEDULE: On April 11, 2019 the NLCRPD has imposed the following fees related to the unification of a dog to its owner. First Offense, $75.00 if licensed - $100.00 if unlicensed & prosecution for unlicensed dog. Repeat Offense, $175.00 if licensed - $200.00 if unlicensed & prosecution for unlicensed dog. Any dog transferred to the PSPCA that is later claimed by the owner will be charged a $350.00 minimum fee for all instances.
