ROAD CLOSED: Penn Township, SR72, Lancaster Road between Auction Road and Graystone Road is CLOSED following a vehicle accident. NLCRPD asks motorists to please avoid the area and or find alternate routes of travel.
March 17, 2023, at 1221 hours the NLCRPD responded to a vehicle accident in the 1500 block of Lancaster Road. The driver reported that she fell asleep at the wheel and struck a utility pole. NLCRPD is currently on the scene and completing the crash investigation. The utility pole fell across the roadway after being struck. The utility company reports it will be several hours to complete the repair and open the roadway. Only minor injuries were reported.
