On 11-10-20 at approximately 16:32 hours NLCRPD was dispatched by LCWC to a premise on Snyder Hill Rd. in Warwick Township for a reported vagrancy in progress. The reporting party stated that a homeless person was sleeping in a fort in the woods in his back yard.
Upon arrival NLCRPD contacted with the reporting party who escorted patrols to the wooded area in his back yard and pointed out the fort. The NLCRPD patrol located an older male that appeared to be sleeping. The officer approached the male and was able to get his attention. The male identified himself and stated that he thought he was far enough in the woods where he was not on anyone's property. The subject also stated that he is a traveling artist and survivor and he does not have a phone and that he is homeless. The patrol
Advised the subject that he was trespassing on private property and needed to vacate that area. The individual declined social assistance and support measures offered by the NLCRPD and left without incident. No further action.
