NLCRPD received a 911 dispatch call from Lancaster County Wide Communications for a robbery that just occurred in the area of the Highlands Dr and Crosswinds Dr intersection. LCWC provided an unidentified male had stolen money from the victim and ran over the victim's foot fleeing in a vehicle. The vehicle was described as a possible teal-colored Honda sedan.
On arrival NLCRPD patrols checked the area of the Target and Giant shopping center, located in the 1000 block of Lititz Pike, for the suspect's vehicle and did not observe any vehicles matching the description. NLCRPD patrols conducted on scene forensics and photographed the vehicle the suspect had entered to retrieve money from a wallet. The victim’s vehicle is a white GMC Sierra and attached flatbed trailer. The vehicle is a work truck owned by a Lancaster area landscape contractor.
Stolen Property: $87.00 in cash was taken from the victim's wallet. The wallet was inside an unlocked work truck in the parking lot of 800 Breezy Way. The victim had three twenty-dollar bills; two ten dollar bills; one five dollar bill; and two one dollar bills.
Suspect Description: The victim described the suspect as approximately 5'10" tall, 160 pounds and in his mid to late 30's. The suspect had either brown or black hair and was wearing a white baseball cap with a black rim (unknown lettering). The victim stated that the suspect was wearing long gray or black gym shorts with a white t-shirt (unknown wording). The victim did not recall seeing any scars, marks or tattoos that were visible and the suspect was alone.
Vehicle Description: The vehicle was described as a teal in color Honda Civic. The victim was not certain if it was a two door or four door. The suspect had a lot of trash and belongings in the back of the vehicle. The victim reported that the vehicle fled north bound on Highlands Drive towards Lititz Borough. No vehicle registration was obtained.
