On February 12th at 11:00 pm, NLCRPD responded to 6231 High Street in East Petersburg Borough for a welfare check. Prior to police arrival Jessica Laruen Witmer, 40 years of age, of East Petersburg, discharged a handgun. She was taken into custody with no further incident. No persons were injured.
