A 23-year-old East Petersburg man is in the Lancaster County Prison after his arrest associated with a home intrusion. ANTHONY TODD GEBHARD of the 2500 Block of Chrismar Drive, East Petersburg, PA faces charges of Criminal Trespass graded as a third-degree felony, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia both of which are misdemeanor grade offenses.
NLCRPD was dispatched to a private residence in the 600 Wood Duck Dr. for a report of a trespassing. Dispatch informed NLCRPD patrols the victim, a female adult woke up this morning and found an unknown man sleeping in her house. Dispatch described the intruder as a white male wearing a bright orange shirt and had fled the residence.
Upon arrival tin the vicinity of the crime a NLCRPD patrol officer observed a white male, wearing a bright orange shirt, walking away from a home in the 600 Wood Duck Dr. A field interview ensued and when the officer asked GEBHARD if he had anything illegal or anything police should know about on his person. He said he has some "bud" in his pocket a commonly used for marijuana.
GEBHARD informed arresting officers he was at a party in the area and woke up inside the victim’s house. He said he had no recollection of how he got there. The victim informed NLCRPD she took a video of the subject that was inside her house. She showed NLCRPD officers a picture of the subject that was inside her residence. Officers observed the subject reported as an intruder in the picture as the same person in custody. The reporting party stated she did not give permission for GEBHARD to be inside her residence. She does not know GEBHARD and he had no right or privilege to be in the occupied dwelling of the victim.
GEBHARD was transported to the NLCRPD Headquarters for Live Scan Arrest booking and was transported to the Lancaster County Prison to await his preliminary arraignment.
