Violation of Manor Township Ordinance - Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana
On Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2043 hours, Officer Phil Eck was doing a park check at Greider Park located at 306 Dickinson Avenue, Lancaster. When he checked the park, he found a vehicle was in the park after hours. He made contact with the occupant of the vehicle. The driver who was identified as Madisyn King, 21, Lancaster, stated she was in the park because she just had a fight with her boyfriend in Lancaster City and just wanted to get away from him so she drove to a park she was familiar with. Upon the Officer's talking with her, he smelled a fresh odor of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, the Officer found a small amount of marijuana. The Officer found a marijuana pipe, a blunt, and 3.8 grams of raw marijuana in the vehicle. Based on his investigation, the Officer filed a citation for violating Manor Township's Ordinance which prohibits a person from possessing a small amount of marijuana. The citation was filed at MDJ Keller's office.
