The Manor Township Police Department was formed in May 1969 and has grown to a current staff of 19 police officers and 3 civilian support employees. The agency provides 24/7 service to the residents, businesses, and visitors of Manor Township. The department is responsible for a jurisdiction covering 46 square miles with 143 miles of roadway and containing a population in excess of 20,500. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
Must be able to perform essential job functions and complete a competitive process including but not limited to oral interviews, physical and psychological examination, polygraph examination, and comprehensive background investigation.
Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalency.
Must have a valid PA operator's license at the time of application deadline.
Must possess current ACT 120 MPOETC certification at time of application deadline.
Must have full time municipal or State Police experience within Pennsylvania during the five year period prior to the application deadline.
Must be a citizen of the United States.
Must meet or exceed all requirements and conditions for certification under MPOETC Act 120, the Manor Township Police Department Police Officer Job Description, and the MTPD Selection and Hiring policy.

- Final selection will be made from any one of the top three candidates

THE MTPD OFFERS FIRST CLASS SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- Competitive salary as provided within the existing CBA. The 2017 starting salary is- $44,583 while Officers with up to four years’ experience may start at up to $60,932. The 2017 top Officer salary is $78,486.
