On Saturday, October 20, 2018 at about 2211 hours Officers from the Manor Township Police Department were called to the 100 block of Rembrandt Drive, Lancaster, for a reported domestic dispute in progress. Officer Troy Rogers learned during this dispute that a female had been assaulted on October 10, 2018 and had to receive medical treatment. Officer Rogers conducted an investigation to include getting a search warrant for medical records for the female and he learned that the female had a bruise on her right eye and a collapsed lung as a result of that domestic dispute. Officer Rogers learned the suspect, Aziijah Sweeney, 35, York, was suspected of doing this to the female who was his girlfriend. As a result of Officer Roger's investigation, he charged Sweeney with Aggravated Assault, Stalking, and Harassment. Officer Rogers obtained a warrant on December 24, 2018. He and other Officers went to the 100 block of Rembrandt Drive and arrested Sweeney on the charges. He was taken to central booking and was arraigned on the charges. His bail was set at $200,000. He was unable to post bail and was committed to Lancaster County Prison.
