On Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1641 hours, Officer were called to the area of the 200 block of Longwood Ct. West, Lancaster, for a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Officer Andrew Long spoke with the defendant, Flavia Plank, 33, Lancaster. She stated she and her husband got into an argument. While Officers were investigating the incident Plank pushed another Officer. She also nudged the reporting Officer. For the Officer's safety, they attempted to place Plank into handcuffs. While attempting to do so, Plank began to resist by screaming and pulling her hands in a downward violent manner. Officers were eventually able to get her restrained in handcuffs. While being escorted to the Officer's cruiser Plank screamed the entire time and yelled obscenities to neighbors and her husband. She was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. She was taken to Lancaster County Prison for arraignment and was committed to prison after being able to post the $25,000 cash bail.
