On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at 2108 hours, Officer Andrew Long was dispatched to the area of the 200 block of Stonemill Road, Lancaster, for a report of a male to be inside of the residence. The male, Cailen Herr,19, Brownstown, was not to be at the apartment because he was arrested and charged on January 6, 2020. Herr does not live at the apartment. As per his bail release documents, Herr was to refrain from entering the victim’s apartment as well as not to have contact with the victim. When Officers arrived at the residence, Herr had already left. The Officers located him at the Rite Aid which is a short distance from the apartment. Through the Officer’s investigation, he found that Herr was inside the apartment and had left 16 “love notes” within the apartment. Herr was taken into custody without incident. He was transported back to the Manor Township Police Department, while the Officer prepared the charges. The Officer charged Herr with Criminal Trespass and Stalking (Domestic Violence Related). He was taken to the Lancaster County Prison for arraignment. His bail was set at $50,000 cash this time, and he was committed to the Lancaster County Prison.
