This is a great opportunity that brings police officers and the community members they serve, together-over coffee-to discuss societal issues, and learn more about each other.

We will also be collecting food donations to support Chasing Down Hunger!

TRAFFIC ALERT AS OF 1:15 P.M., ON TUESDAY, JULY 27TH, 2021


Manheim Township Police are still on the scene of the one-car overturned crash on Oregon Pike at Olde Hickory Road.  However, the roadway is now partially open, with only northbound traffic being restricted at this time.  The roadway will be opened shortly, after towing and recovery services are completed.  Please drive carefully!

TRAFFIC ALERT AS OF 12:39 P.M., ON TUESDAY, JULY 27TH, 2021


Manheim Township Police are on the scene of a one-vehicle crash involving an overturned vehicle with an entrapped occupant, on Oregon Pike near Olde Hickory Road.  This crash has Oregon Pike closed between Landis Valley Road and Royer Drive, and will remain so for an extended period of time.  Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area, and plan alternate routes of travel.  Updates will be provided as they become available.

At 8:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 15th, 2021, Manheim Township Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Creek Road in Manheim Township, for a dog running at large.  The depicted female boxer was found, and her owner could not be located or identified.  Any person knowing the identity of the depicted dog's owner should call the Manheim Township Police Department at 717-569-6401 or provide information electronically by clicking "Submit a Tip" below.  Reference Report MT-21-11025 - Delgiacco.

TRAFFIC ALERT AS OF 3:00 P.M., ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 14TH, 2021


Manheim Township Police are on the scene of a one-car crash at the intersection of Oregon Pike and Eden Road in Manheim Township.  The car in question struck a fire hydrant and utility pole, which has caused a power outtage in the area.  Emergency crews are also working to clear the crash scene.  Motorists should avoid this area and plan on taking alternate routes of travel.  Updates will be provided when they become available.

TRAFFIC ALERT AS OF 2:30 P.M., ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 16TH, 2021


Trees have fallen in the 200 block of Sunglo Road in Manheim Township, causing the roadway to become blocked.  Additionally, wires have been pulled down, creating a safety hazard.  The roadway will remain closed just south of Buch Avenue until the wires can be repaired, and the trees removed.  Motorists should avoid this area, and plan alternate routes of travel.

TRAFFIC ALERT AS OF 2:30 P.M., ON TUESDAY, JUNE 8TH, 2021


Manheim Township Police are on scene of a one-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer, which struck a utility pole.  The impact pulled down electrical wires, which fell onto the top of the truck.  The truck cannot be moved until PPL Electric Utilities responds to shut off the power.  As a result, Manheim Pike is closed between Plaza Boulevard and Route 30.  Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area and plan alternate routes of travel.  Updates will be provided as they become available.
